ReplayTVs have a feature called SPORTSGUARD. When the replay goes to record
a sporting event, it will automatically record up to an extra hour on the
end of the program --- but only if that extra time does not cause a conflict
with another recording schedule.

This is a really cool feature, and has saved me a lot of times.

For Myth to be able to do this, the new "direct" XML listings would have be
used, to figure out if the program in question is a sporting event. The
current XMLTV system does not provide that information.

The Replay also allows specifying recording shows bases on substring matches
for TITLE, DESCRIPTION, ACTOR and DIRECTOR. Before Myth could do this for
ACTOR or DIRECTOR, the new "direct" XML listings would be required.

Myth is REALLY cool, and I see myself using it more and more, but I am glad
I have my ReplayTV for this kind of recording.
