[mythtv-users] comparison request: via cle266 library vs. ivor's cle266 library

is it just my imagination or is the quality of the picture produced by 
ivor's library considerably better than that produced by the closed 
source via code.

i just downloaded libddmpeg from www.ivor.it and compiled and installed 
it (i had been using the via library)
the difference was noticable - or it just wish fulfillment on my part?
