[mythtv-users] can't load libmythtv-0.15.so.0

I've been away for some time moving. My Myth box had been running pretty
well for watching recordings. For some reason it didn't survive the
move, even though I physically moved it myself, not the movers. Anyway,
lots of hard drive issues so I have to do a complete reinstall.

I'm having one problem and I'm not finding any answers in the archive.
When I try to load anything I get an error that it can't load the shared
library libmythtv-0.15.so.0. I do not have that file anywhere on my
system. I also googled for that library and didn't find much at all.

I had a similar problem months ago with the 0.14 version of this file.
The solution then was to uninstall mythtv-suite and reinstall from
source. This time I don't have the suite installed, or any myth RPMs for
that matter. I have the latest CVS installed on Redhat 9 with kernel
2.4.20-30_37.rh9.at.

Any ideas?

Also looking for suggestions on backing up? Should I just back up all
the configs or try to do more of a full system backup? What do others on
this list do? Because of my hard drive crash I lost lots of shows I had
recorded. I was thinking I might use rsync nightly and backup the files
to another box. Any recommendations?

I haven't looked through the commit list yet, but plan too. I'm sure a
lot has changed/improved in the last couple months. One thing I was
hoping would be there soon was playing MythDVD or MythVideo and having
the A/V go directly out the FB on the PVR350. Also MythMusic's audio
through the FB. Anyone know if these were ever worked on? I was trying
to do this using mplayer but doing it that way you have to route to
audio back through the input, etc.

Sorry this got long. Looking forward to getting mine back up and
running. Thanks to the developers of this package. Simply awesome.

Regards,
James
