[mythtv-users] Better quality on knoppmyth Shuttle box with PVR250

Hello again everybody,
I have knoppmyth R4V2 installed on the Shuttle SN41G2 with a Hauppauge 
PVR250.  I have 2 main concerns at this point...

1. TV watching from both live and recorded is somewhat jittery (no 
smooth motion), and the sound is not in sync.  I've tried many of the 
options in setup->TV settings to improve this, but I'm not getting this 
any better.  Any suggestions on how to do this?

2. I know this is an XFree issue, but I'm displaying out of the S-Video 
out and converting to RCA to my Sony 27" TV (I couldn't find my S-Video 
cable).  Anyway, there is about 1-2" black border outside the X windows 
display, and was trying to configure X to use the entire screen without 
success.  Any ideas here?
