This _shouldn't_ matter (although it's worth trying, and worth changing 
for symmetry's sake if nothing else).  From the modprobe(8) man page:

modprobe intelligently adds or removes a module from the Linux  kernel: 
note  that  for  convenience, there is no difference between _ and - in 
module  names.
