[mythtv-users] MythTV under Windows/coLinux?

>From CVS it does not compile under cygwin anymore, I have a modified version
locally that does finish compiling, however I even had to disable the
directx video output, and I could never even try it out because I can't
compile QT for windows with mysql driver, it always craps out, and I'm far
too lazy to spend more time finding out why.

The changes I made were trivial, just comment out stuff that is linux
specific and not written that way. Also the build system doesn't work quite
properly as I had to make symlinks where make didn't do it for me, I don't
know why. I'd bet it's because qmake is beta quality under cygwin.

I have heard that people have made it work and actually display video - in
very alpha quality, however none of them have actually posted a howto.
