forgot to mention in my last email
i use a 2.6 kernel: 2.6.4-gentoo-r1 patched with via-v4l-1.4a-drm.patch
using ivtv-0.1.10-pre2-ck07 on a pvr350
not using tv-out on this box but have it working just fine on another 9000
(running debian)
built libddmpeg-1.6 from source (from ivor's site: www.ivor.it)
using viaexp for dvd playing
building mythtv from cvs - and before anyone says anything - it is not hard
running the binary via stuff from viaarena (apart from ivor's libddmpeg)

config files supplied on request!
