I just got my xbox frontend up, and it works great!
(GREAT svideo out, no work involved, just get the MS svideo cable kit
for ~$20, also has optical 5.1 audio out potential)
It occurred top me the xbox receiver that comes with the remote is just
a USB device with a funky connector... It wouldn't take much to use it
anywhere.
A Linux module exists...
The xbox remote keymappings for mythtv work very well.
It works with lirc...
