[mythtv-users] mythfrontend crash on livetv when recording starts

I've also experienced the same thing, however mine also involved a
backend crash - I arrived home to find the black option screen frozen on
screen and the backend gone with no errors reported in the log.

Running FC1 (Set up with Jarod's guide) on a Pundit with a PVR-350.

OK, so then why did mine crash? It never went to the recording, and the
only errors I have are in mythfrontend.log:

2004-04-25 08:30:23 RemoteFile::Read() failed in
RingBuffer::safe_read().

If you make no response the default action is to watch the show while it
records...
