As I've just learned from the ivtv-devel mailing list, the built-in 
TVouts don't interlace the output, so they'll look inferior to the 
output from the 350 during high-action sequences such as action flicks, 
sports games etc due to interlacing artifacts. (Thread "PVR350: TV-Out - 
newbie questions...")
