Should be able to.  I haven't tried it, but you could probably use the 
FC1 packages.  I only say this because the FC2 Xorg binary seems to be 
compiled on a 2.4.21 kernel anyway.  I haven't tried it so I take no 
responsibility in you breaking your system. ;-)  You may need to 
uninstall Xorg first.  You would probably be better off with option 2 below.

Yes, RH9 includes Xfree86.  But a better option for Myth is to use FC1 
and follow Jarod's guide (http://wilsonet.com/mythtv) for building a 
system.  FC1 also uses Xfree86.
