Can anyone offer any advice as to how to get change_channel.csh to actually
change the channel or elaborate on what I might be doing wrong?

I managed to run: remote_irrecord --device=/dev/remote filename and the dots
appear so I know that the IR Blaster is receiving signals from the
Scientific Atlanta remote.
It generated a conf file with the following data, however, when running
change_channel.csh 13 as per the directions, it does not change the channel.
A new PID number gets generated though.

Here's the output of the file remote_irrecord generated.

begin remote

  name filename
  bits 23
  flags SPACE_ENC|CONST_LENGTH
  eps 30
  aeps 100

  header 3329 3350
  one 832 2510
  zero 832 855
  gap 100299
  toggle_bit 0

      begin codes
      end codes

end remote

-------------

This data differs slightly from my /etc/remoted.conf file.

begin remote

  name SA2000
  flags CONST_LENGTH|RAW_CODES
  eps 30
  aeps 100

  ptrail 0
  repeat 0 0
  gap 100240

Should I adjust the remoted.conf file to accomodate the additional info that
was created?

I am using a Scientific Atlanta E2050ER1 remote, along with a 3200 model
receiver.
