[mythtv-users] DVI v. Component

Is that the case for all HDCP devices?

I had my eyes on a projector (Panasonic AE500) and was planning to run
it from an MX440.

Yeah, I can't use my nice new TV's DVI unless I buy a vid card that
supports HDCP  v1.0 (Nvidia 6800 or Radeon 9800 Pro)

That was an unpleasant surprise. I felt like bringing the dod gamned
thing back to Zenith HQ, find any employee, and shove it up their ass.
Actually, I could probably only fit the appropriate circuitry up their
ass, but that'd do fine. I still haven't ruled that out.
