[mythtv-users] X problems with no monitor

My system is FC1, a single PVR250, Jarod's guide followed...

I'm running myth on a system that uses an external scan converter that splits
to a TV and monitor. When I finally moved the whole thing out of
the 'basement' for general family consumption I found that 'X' didn't come
up. Well, it may have come up with a bad configuration. There was a squished
line about 1" high at the top. I no longer had a monitor attached.

I ran redhat-config-xfree86 and got errors. I next added a monitor again. I
rebooted and go the same problem. I attempted to run the X configurator again
and still got errors.

I haven't had time but I'm sure I can handle my immediate X problems. My real
question is if anyone else is running an external scan converter only and what
do you do about a monitorless X setup?
