[mythtv-users] KDE (libs) required for mythtv?

Hi all,

    I'm trying to clean up my gentoo system, and am wondering about KDE library requirements in MythTV.  I've got KDE installed, but I don't use it as a window manager at all.  I'd like to remove it and the related chunks, but don't want to break anything.

    I grepped through the mythtv sources for kde, and only found it associated with arts support.  I know I don't use arts, so I'm thinking I can remove KDE, since that seems to be the only dependency for kde.

    Are there folks out there not running the KDE libraries on their myth systems?
