There are no X 3d drivers for Sis651, so this is not fixable.
Although its not needed for watching TV

no way out here, I added some of the modprobe lines in /etc/rc.local

chmod a+rw /dev/lirc
chmod a+rw /dev/snd/* /dev/video*
