What version of ivtv are you using? 0.1.9 doesn't support and MCE and a
non-MCE in the system. I needed to use one of the ck versions (99e in
my case) in order to support both card types. Also, search the archives
for ivtv and cardtype. You may also want to search the ivtv maillist
archives.
As long as it doesn't have the cx88 chip it should be ok. No, you don't
need to disable the FM tuner. Also, don't worry about the low latency
message, it is normal. Weird that your Tuner says bttv. That is a
different driver.
If you still have troubles post a message on the ivtv list with the
relevant dmesg output and lspci -v for the PVR-250's. While there are a
lot of ivtv users on this list, the ivtv list may be able to help also.
