I believe the controlling standard, for those who use it, is SCTE 40,
which is a collection of MPEG-2 TS's over RF.  There's some murmuring
on the lists that the pcHDTV 2&3000 cards *might* be massaged into
working on it, but whether your cableco encrypts non-premium channels 
is a deal-breaker, and we don't know yet.
