[mythtv-users] CVS mythfrontend hangs upon entering "watch recordings"

I am getting a similar problem. Every time I try to use the watch recording
screen to select a recording the backend goes off into an extended period of
hard drive thrashing which locks everything up for about 2 minutes. Once
done, if I try to change the selected item, it does it all over again. This
has crept into CVS in the last week.
