[mythtv-users] Yet Another "No Sound Durring Live TV" Problem

I've recently upgraded from 0.15.1 to 0.16 (as well as from FC1 to FC2).

My box is almost back to normal, save for one small detail, I have no
sound during live tv (and I've searched all over the
archives...nothing seems to "fit" right).

The recordings I have from when I ran 0.15.1 and FC1 have sound, and I
can hear it.  I can not, however, change volume or mute it.  Any live
TV or recordings do not have sound.

If I move the audio from the PVR-250's audio input over to my Sound
Blaster Live Line In, I get sound, but when watching Live TV, it is of
course 3 seconds or so ahead of the video.

I've followed Jarod's guide.  I've made sure nothing is muted (using alsamixer).

I have my sound output set to /dev/dsp, I have my mixer set to
/dev/mixer and I have it set to control the PCM volume.

I've commenced with hair pulling, because I know it's something dumb.
