:-(
no joy.
Looks like I will have to stick with the Guildford transmitter. Using
your channels.conf I lose all my channels...
Are aerials directional ? Perhaps the one on my roof just happens to be
pointing more in the direction of the Guildford transmitter ?
I am 2-3 miles due south of Guildford - perhaps you are to the north...
I have persevered a little with linuxtv-dvb-apps-1.1.0
(http://www.cs.man.ac.uk/~brejc8/dvb/) which I am using to scan for
channels and zap to myth which I am using to convert my channel.conf to
sql inserts for the myth db - but there are several issues :
- scan - seems to run for ever round and round - I can never be sure
when it has actually finished.
- zap2myth: channels seem to get lost
- zap2myth : sql syntax gets broken with multiple '''s
- zap2myth : NULL inserts into the icon column break the import...
I haven't got the time to roll my own zap2myth and it is time consuming
manually fixing every iteration before importing...
What did you use to scan and convert ?
cheers,
Jules
