Thanks for the link.  I managed to get all of that working to a point.  However, there's an omission and another problem.

In the guide, it doesn't mention that if you go from an ATrpms setup to a cvs setup, you lose mythtvsetup (well, at least I did, anyway).  I had to drop into the setup direcory, run make, then symlink the setup file to /usr/bin/mythtvsetup.  It's definitely different, with more DB stuff, and the two questions are asked in the GUI now.

The problem I now have is that when I try to change channels when using the secondary card (a PixelView Pro .8E card, a PVR250 is primary) the frontend crashes.  When run from a term window, I get the following.
