[mythtv-users] OT: screwed up my install

Hi,

I was adding a new Soundcard and hosed my mythtv setup which has been 
working for months now.
The wife is REALLY going to be mad, she was finally getting to like myth. :P

I think I blew out my modules.conf file and that is causing all the 
problems. X no longer works and I have no network connection. Is there a 
way to rebuild the system or should I do a complete install and upgrade to FC3?

  I'm running, 0.16 on FC1 with a pvr-250, dishnetwork receiver, SB audigy 
ZS platinum. I had done a lot of work on getting IR to work through the pvr 
and control the dish, I also have a lot of recordings that I'd rather not 
lose. I didn't want to upgrade to FC3 since I was afraid something like 
this would happen.

I'm not a complete newb, but as you can see, I know enough to really screw 
up my system.  :)

Any suggestions or help would be much appreciated.
