[mythtv-users] Soundcard advice please

Dear all,
 
I'm currently using an Abit IS7 which has onboard intel8x0 sound. It's
giving me lots of problems hooking it up to my hifi via the optical out
either for stereo TV or AC3 passthru for 5.1 DVD etc. I'm looking at
getting a PCI sound card. so if you are successfully playing DVD's in
5.1 or DTS with optical or coaxial out, please could you post you
card/driver details. For reference I have a Sony STRDE875 5.1 A/V
receiver.
