SoundBlaster Audigy OEM. Digital coax out, ac3 passthrough to my Yamaha 
6.1 A/V receiver/amp, ALSA 1.0.1. Works just fine for optical out also, 
if you've got either an add-on bracket for the rear or a LiveDrive. 
Other excellent cards are the TerraTec DMX 6fire and M-Audio Revolution 
7.1, both of which work great with ALSA.
