[mythtv-users] corrupted video while recording and box will segfault then freeze nightly

I'm having two serious problems with mythtv server box. I don't think either
are mythtv's fault, but hopefully someone can clue me in on what it is.

Specs Follow below

1. The first is a video corruption that I am seeing similiar to interlacing.
It happens every few minutes, and sometimes it gets very bad, other times
not so, it's on and off. It happens during the recording stage as when
paused it's still there, as well as when it is played back in a remote
frontend. As you can see for yourself, turning on/off the filters does
nothing because that's in the playback. The capture card is currently using
the last PCI slot, next to the Audigy, then there is the a ATA controller,
spare slot (wouldn't detect drives w/o this spare slot), then another ATA
controller, and finally the GeForce AGP. This might be causing this.

2. Once a day I have to reboot the box. It will start to give segfaults
running everything. I will be using ssh on it, and just going su will
segfault it. Then my X will freeze and garble up. Sometimes if I'm quick I
can get it to shutdown itself before everything goes. I'm not sure if this
only happens when it's recording but i would lean to say it does. I suspect
a few things for this. First was that it was overheating, but now that I've
switched to round ata cables, and put fans everywhere I highly doubt it.
Second is that I'm maxing out my PCI bus, since I didn't have this problem
before with my Mandrake setup with 2 less HD's on the RAID and one less PCI
ata controller. Third my kernel is causing this. Any ideas?

When this occurs some errors logs from the backend:

What worries me is this error I just discoverd, it might prove my theory of
a ata controller/mobo problem. I'm seeing this from 2 Maxtor drives out of
the 4. These two are on one of the ata controller cards. hrm /dev/hdi & k
are the WD's on the other card. ** Very Important. These disk errors are not
found prior to January 29th, and I think they are NOT the cause. On that day
I screwed up the RAID by moving the drives around, eventually it came back
with a mkraid. Strange since I did run xfs_repair after, no problems. I did
switch the ata cables that day to new UV round ones, heh and it is only
coming from that one ata card..i'm so lost.

Sometimes on shutdown I receive a couple kernel panics, those can be seen in
my message.log file URL below.
