I had some mythtvfrontend lockup issues with a Tyan S2465AN
motherboard: Athlon 2800 XP processor. This was with MythTV-0.13.
Since then, I cleared up most of the problems by adding the "noapic
nolapic pci=noacpi acpi=off video=vc:0-0" statements into LILO
(/etc/lilo.conf), please refer to the MythTV docs regarding the video=
statement. One huge help with problems I was having with occasional
lockups with the PVR-350, while jumping back while viewing a recorded
show, was to upgrade to MythTV-0.14. The 0.14 revision has a huge
number of PVR-350 corrections that may also apply to your PVR-250, worth
a try?
