I got my firmware here:

I got this address from Jarod's installation guide but I have seen it mentioned in this mailing list as well.  I think these may be betas or pre-releases or something.  They seem to have several 1.8 versions.  I just noticed that the date on the 1.8.22024 is 24-Jan-2003 but I'm sure that is a mistake - should be 2004.
