This is my first time posting to the list. I am having trouble getting
my Brooktree based TV Tuner card working. I am beginning to suspect my
card might not be fully supported.
The bttv kernel module loads fine, however no entries are created in
/dev/. I'm using Gentoo 1.4 w/ the 2.6.2-mm1 kernel.
My lscpi -v output:

00:0d.0 VGA compatible controller: Brooktree Corporation BtV 2164 (rev
09) (prog-if 00 [VGA])
         Flags: medium devsel
         Memory at ce000000 (32-bit, non-prefetchable) [size=32M]
Expansion ROM at cdff0000 [disabled] [size=32K]

00:0d.1 Multimedia controller: Brooktree Corporation BtV 2165 (rev 09)
Flags: bus master, medium devsel, latency 32, IRQ 10

My lsmod output:

bttv 138976 0

videodev 7744 1 bttv

My dmesg output:
