Did you consider that this is not even the correct list to be asking 
questions about getting sound cards working under linux? (you're asking 
questions about making sound cards with with the operating system, *NOT* 
how to make it work with Myth).  You should be asking these questions on 
the ALSA mailing list instead of abusing the people on a completely 
different list.  Do you walk into your local computer shop and abuse them 
because your washing machine isn't working?
