I use the Asus version of the GeForce4 MX440 and I am very happy with
the output quality. For example, I have a progressive scan dvd player
connected to my TV via component input and the S-Video out from the Asus
card connected to the S-Video input. Playing the same DVD using the
dedicated player and with Mplayer looks very similar to the average eye.
I can discern a difference, but others in my family cannot. I was very
pleasantly surprised.
This is a fanless model I purchased from Newegg. However this model is
not currently listed when I went to the site to find the model number
for you. May be out of stock.
Good luck!
