I've got that same combo, but with a Seagate 120g HD. Here are the
specs:

tv root # hdparm -tT /dev/hda

/dev/hda:
 Timing buffer-cache reads:   272 MB in  2.00 seconds = 136.00 MB/sec
 Timing buffered disk reads:  100 MB in  3.03 seconds =  33.00 MB/sec

tv root # hdparm /dev/hda

/dev/hda:
 multcount    = 16 (on)
 IO_support   =  1 (32-bit)
 unmaskirq    =  1 (on)
 using_dma    =  1 (on)
 keepsettings =  0 (off)
 readonly     =  0 (off)
 readahead    =  8 (on)
 geometry     = 14593/255/63, sectors = 234441648, start = 0

tv root # hdparm -I /dev/hda

/dev/hda:
