[mythtv-users] Help me size next cpu, Athlon 2800+ MP enough for high quality/filters?

	I actually pseudo-"burned-in" each cpu individually beforehand.  Before 
modding the L5, I put each one in separately, fired up linux and compiled the 
kernel (with -j2) 10 times in a row.  That was enough to convince me that the 
cpu/ram combo was OK and not DOA.  The ECC bootup delay was present even in 
that configuration.  I didn't try the PCI card issues with a single CPU, but 
I'm pretty sure it's just an incompatibility between IRQ sharing.  With 2 of my 
three pci cards, it won't POST.  With 1, it boots, but the NIC only slightly 
works... losing interrupts, etc all the time.

	I almost cheaped out on that, but it wasn't that much more for ECC.  
Nothing worse than flakey ram.

	I hacked my tower case with a 6" 120V AC fan at the top to suck air 
through.  Unfortunately, it sounds like a gas turbine firing up, but it gets 
the job done!
