[mythtv-users] Backend dies when watching live TV

I've been playing around with TV stuff on Linux for about a week now,
and though I've been able to get a lot of stuff working I'm having a
major problem. Whenever I try to watch Live TV the Myth backend server
dies. I'll start out by printing out some logs, and then I'll try to
give some background information including what I have already tried.
Please let me know if any other information would be helpful.

BACKGROUND INFORMATION:

The version of MythTV I'm using is 0.13.12102003-1.

Permissions for /dev/dsp and /dev/v4l/* seem normal, and in any case I
have the same problem whether I run the backend server as the mythtv
user or as root. Xawtv works just great, and if I mute the line-in I
can do "aplay /dev/dsp" and it works just fine.

Please let me know if any other information would be useful. Thanks in
advance for your help.
