[mythtv-users] black thumnails and NO video playback

I recorded 5 shows tonight the the first 3 have black thumbnails in
'Watch recording' and if I try and watch it the screen goes black and
then goes back to mythtv. I can launch the file in mplayer and it has
video. The next 1 recording works fine then the next 2 are black again.
 
 
I am running a amd xp1800, pvr250, fedora and Mythtv .14
 
 
Sounds like possible database issue, but how can I rebuidl the database
without losing everything?
