2 Possibilities:

mythfilldatabase --manual

or mythfilldatabase --xawchannels

The second take xawtvrc files. Format is easy:

[ard.de]
channel = E2

[zdf.de]
channel = E4

[rtl.de]
channel = E10


So the channel name (as it comes in your xawtv file) and then the
channel numbers.
