[mythtv-users] mythtv-backend

Just setup mythtv on Knoppix 3.3 11/19/03 release date.  When I start 
mythtv-backend I get the following error message.

Session management error: Could not open network socket

Can only find one message in the archives with this post but didn't find a 
solution.  Almost everything works except MythWeb and watching tv.  Both 
report similar errors and exit due to mythtv-backend doen't seem to be 
running which is incorrect.

Any suggestions?
