[mythtv-users] Xv and XvMC - what's the difference?

The MC expl. is helpful, now I'm guessing that this might get rid of some of the jerkiness of the video on my PVR recordings.... perhaps?

Xv is X video, an accelerated video standard. XvMC is X video Motion 
Compensation, which is an extension of Xv, but isn't very standard (at least 
not yet).

I don't really know the specifics either, but I believe you're on the right 
track. Not sure if I was very helpful, but I didn't see any other replies 
yet. :)
