Disclaimer: I've never tried anything other than the 350 TV out...

I can say that the TV out on the 350 in most cases looks at least as 
good as the tuner on my TV.  The reds and oranges seem to be over 
saturated in scenes where they are uniform, such as when someone has a 
red shirt on, but that may be addressable.  I haven't looked into it 
yet.  Also, when there are grid lines, like a vent or something, it has 
a weird shimmering effect.  Overall, though I think it's very good.  I 
watched the Noah's Ark special on discovery last night and it looked great.
