[mythtv-users] Aspect ratio mix-up; 16:9 showing as 4:3

Thanks for your help, Ivor.
Myth says it is using the 16:9 ratio, scrolling through with "W" shows the
4:3 ratio as though it is squeezed (my original problem).
xdpyinfo spits out a lot of information, I don't know what you're looking to
see. It does say that the screen #0 resolution is at 800 x 600 pixels (a
correct 4:3 ratio).
As far as Xinerama goes, I don't know how to tell if it is running or not,
but when I load mythfrontend, I do see a quick "Loading Xinerama...." status
bar. Looks to be normal?
This really isn't an issue for me if having a 16:9 aspect ratio doesn't hurt
performance in any way. (i.e. I just want to make sure that there aren't
two resizes happening to counteract each other that could degrade
performance). If 16:9 works on my 4:3 TV, I'm fine with it. I just thought
I'd try and resolve any outstanding quirks before moving on. Should this be
a concern of mine?
