Have not heard from anyone regarding what setting(s) to change to get
a capture working properly. I have LIRC, ALSA, mythfilldatabase
completed. Just need to be able to capture. I would appreciate any
help.

Thanks!
George

Subject: [mythtv-users] Black screen when performing screen capture

I am sure this question has been answered before,
but I cannot find it in the mail list.  I am
getting a black screen with no sound when I do a
test capture (cat /dev/video0 >
/tmp/test_capture.mpg) and run Mplayer.  I am
running FC1, P4, using PVR 250 and Nvidia GeForce
2 GTS.  I am not sure what the problem is, ivtv
seemed to load correctly, dnr mode, dnr spatial
and temporal all set to 0 as per Jarod's guide.
Any help would be appreciated (most specifically
by me :)).
Thanks,
George
