[mythtv-users] DirecTV and the low speed data port

I have the same receiver.  U actually need to use the sony.pl not the
rca (don't ask me why?!).
As far as the pin out. I used a serial to RJ45 to serial adaptor I had
laying around then spliced the RJ11 on to the cat 5 cable so it went
computer serial port > serial to RJ45 adaptor > Cat 5 cable > splice to
RJ11 > DirecTV
It works great.
