[mythtv-users] Programs start recording late: why, and how fix?

Bah!  I tried to record the Three Stooges Marathon on AMC back on New 
Years day and every single recording was ruined by ending about 40 
seconds early, so yeah, it happens.  I guess it probably is asking too 
much for TV networks to be accurate to the second based on a schedule 
posted weeks in advance.  If I knew then what I know now, I would have 
set the program with the GUI instead of MythWeb and set a per-show 120 
second pre- and post-roll which, as I understand it, would have forced 
the scheduler to alternate encoders rather than recording everything on 
encoder #1.
