[mythtv-users] no audio

Hello,

I am having problems with the audio.

I have a mythtv installation with RedHat 9, based on Jarod's guide.
The hardware is Flywideo 3000, Athlon 2000+ XP, Jetway motherboard with 
via8233a.
I installed alsasound because watching live tv did not work with oss - 
it produced a black
screen and it did not react to keystrokes, I had to kill it.

With alsasound, mythfrontend produces video, works OK in general, but no 
sound. It records
and plays back, but the playback has no sound. Xawtv and aplay works OK.

Can anyone give me a clue? I have been struggling with this stuff for 2 
days.
