Yeah, it's a real pain. You have to run the lirc setup to get the serial
port driver for the ir blaster and there is no way to do that using
Axels ATrpms. (at least as far as I know). Without a doubt lirc and
changing channels is the toughest row to hoe. There's gotta be an
easier way for us appliance operaters, short of switching from
mythtv of course. Other than that major pain, Jarod's guide worked
to perfection for me. Thanks Jarod! and the developers of course.
