[mythtv-users] nvidia new drivers hdtv/interlacing, any benefit for us non HDTV people?

I have a few myth boxes here with GeForce 4mx440 cards running Svideo out @ 
1024x768-> non HDTV TV's. I hear the new Nvidia drivers support Interlaced, 
Progressive, HDTV modes, etc

Are there any benefits ie better tv out quality if I change from my current 
settings to the new drivers with any of these options/modelines, or is that 
stuff just for people with HDTV's?
