[mythtv-users] Latest CVS -> audio buffer overflows

Hi Anders,

How did you know it was an IRQ problem?

I had ACPI enabled in the kernel, on in the BIOS (Abit IS-7) previously.
To fix the problem, I disabled as many of the on-board devices as I
could (onboard sound, serial, IR etc.) and now it works fine.

It might be useful to know what changes to the myth code caused these
problems...

Thanks, Paul

I had that problem last night!

In my case it was problem with irq collition, fixed by enableing ACPI in

both kernel and BIOS.

Using MythTV and ALSA from cvs with kernel 2.6.7
