For past few days I have been unsuccesful in sending video (MPEG2) to Hauppauge PVR-350 decoder
via MPlayer.
I followed followed steps outlined in
i) http://www.byopvr.com/Sections+index-req-viewarticle-artid-6-page-1.html
ii) And also referred http://ivtv.writeme.ch/tiki-index.php?page=TvOutHowto

Following simple commands work
i) cat /tmp/c.mpg > /dev/video16 works fine.
2) ivtvfbctl /dev/fb0 -globalalpha -nolocalalpha -alpha 0
   dd if=/tmp/test_capatured_video.mpg of=/dev/video16 bs=64k

But when trying to use PVR-350 decoder via Mplayer + Mythtv combination fails.
Please see below mythfrontend log file and other details. Sorry for the long
posting.

In MythTV setup :
Mythtv->VideoSetting->Player Setting -> mplayer -fs -zoom -quiet -vo xv %s

#xvinfo
X-Video Extension version 2.2
screen #0
no adaptors present

Run 'xvinfo' to verify its Xv support and read DOCS/en/video.html#xv!
See 'mplayer -vo help' for other (non-xv) video out drivers. Try -vo x11
