>From what you've said it sounds like you have analog cable, the pvr350
can tune that just fine.  I run a pvr350 and connect it directly to
Comcast cable.  Try removing the box and see what happens.  Note that
you are not limiting future expandability since if you want directTV or
digital cable later, you simply plug the pvr350 into those instead and
buy/build an IR tranceiver and configure myth to send change channel
commands to the corresponding cable-box.
