[mythtv-users] Sound still dies

I have two bt878 cards and am using the latest'n'greatest alsa bt87x
drivers.

After anywhere between 1 day and a week of operation, one or both sound
cards will crap out.  It doesn't look like a hardware problem.

The error (this time w/ capture card #2) is:
only read -1 from 4096 bytes from '/dev/dsp2'
read audio: Input/output error

Bug is still in the latest cvs verison of myth.
